I just can’t resist a co-ord. Can’t do it. Also, you probably already know about my mustard problem. Naturally, Rebdolls rendered me completely helpless when I saw this baby while browsing. I had also just dyed my hair rose gold and found my perfect nude lipstick so really? Like I had a choice? Buy it or just miss out on this killer color palette? Like how?
I decided to have the pants cut ankle-length because I find full-length wide-leg trousers to be disrespectful. Sometimes I want to wear a heel. Most times I don’t. What I never want is to marry a certain pant to a certain shoe. My pants need to be free to check out other shoes without consequence. Stop trying to tie my pants down!
As much as I love these together, I can’t wait to split them up. However, they have serious power combined. I haven’t been complimented by this many strangers in a long while. But really, what else has the effect of wearing head-to-toe yellow? It makes me want to coach a basketball team every time…
Also, power suit naw. Power ASS.
So here’s the rub. I love two piece sets because I also fucking love crop tops. And when I saw the next set, I was drawn to it but incredibly apprehensive. After all, I am short as shit and while there’s no hiding that, I prefer to not make myself look shorter with lower waistlines. Still, I was oddly compelled to try this.
This just might be one of those reliving-my-punk-youth moments.
This was also my first purchase from UK brand Elvi. I have to say I was pleased with the quality and the price point and I really dig their 70s-inspired aesthetic. It’s very similar to Eloquii but with a more conservative use of colors.
